About the Role

We're looking for a motivated and hands-on Audio Visual Installer to join our growing team in Sydney. The ideal candidate has some experience in AV or home automation installations, is eager to learn, and is seeking a long-term career in the smart technology industry.

You'll be involved in installing and commissioning premium automation systems, home theatres, distributed audio, networking, lighting control, and security solutions across Sydney's leading residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of audio-visual and automation systems

• Cable running, terminations, and equipment mounting

• Basic programming and system testing

• Read and interpret plans, wiring diagrams, and schematics

• Maintain site cleanliness, safety, and professional presentation

• Work collaboratively with electricians, builders, and project managers

• Ensure punctuality, attention to detail, and reliable workmanship

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months experience in audio-visual, electrical, or automation installations

• Valid NSW Driver's Licence (manual preferred)

• Basic tool handling and site safety knowledge

• Excellent problem-solving skills and common sense

• Professional, punctual, and reliable attitude

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Desire to build a long-term career in AV and smart home automation

• White Card (Construction Induction)

Desirable

• Experience with Control4 & Audio Visual Installation

• Basic understanding of networking or IP systems
