A complete cinema — equipment and construction
The Northern Sydney project was a full-scope home theatre engagement covering both the AV system and the complete room build — one of the earlier flagship projects in Blutek's portfolio.
Blutek supplied and installed every component: Sony 4K projection, Triad Silver Series in-wall and in-ceiling speakers across a full 7.2.4 Atmos configuration, dual OMNI12 subwoofers, 4K Blu-ray, Apple TV, and a Control4 EA3 controller.
The room construction delivered a fully acoustic-treated private cinema — gyprock, sound batts, 16 acoustic wall panels with C-Channel arches, dual 600-star fibre optic ceiling panels, and 8 premium electric-recline cinema chairs.

Sony 550ES 4K projector, 140" Screen Technics screen, and a Marantz Anthem MRX1120 receiver driving a full 7.2.4 Dolby Atmos speaker array — two Triad OMNI12 subwoofers included.
600-Star Fibre Optic Ceiling
Two 600-point LED fibre optic star panels create a bespoke night-sky ceiling, finished with specialist black spray paint for a truly immersive cinema environment.
Triad Silver Series Speakers
Triad In-Wall Silver/6 front LCR monitors paired with Silver in-ceiling surrounds and Atmos channels — one of the finest in-wall speaker systems available for residential home theatre.
Full Room Construction
4-wall gyprock with full bulkhead, sound batt ceiling insulation, acoustic wall panels with 3 C-Channel arches, and a wall-to-wall poly-finish entertainment cabinet.
8-Seat Premium Cinema
Eight premium electric-recline cinema chairs, complemented by acoustic fabric upholstery throughout the room — designed for comfort over long viewing sessions.
Control4 Automation
Control4 EA3 controller with SR260 remote provides one-touch scene control — "Watch Movie" dims lights, drops the screen, fires up the projector and sets volume automatically.
The Star Ceiling
1,200 stars above every screening
Two 600-point LED fibre optic panels create a seamless night-sky canopy across the full ceiling area. Each panel is set, plastered, sanded, and finished with specialist black spray paint — invisible seams, maximum drama.
Combined with acoustic wall panels, C-Channel arches, and step strip lighting, the Northern Sydney theatre delivers a cinematic atmosphere that competes with any commercial venue.
